Hope you're enjoying it! I can't help but suspect you somehow planned leaving just before the deluge here. Certainly Central America is > drowning in Southern California! I'm moving back to my parents' for awhile to help fix the house since it was partially thrashed apart from tornado/microburst/some-weather-thing, so I'm jealous!
